While advertisers specify a target campaign budget, advertisers only pay based on actual clicks their advertisements receive (a “click” occurs when a prospective customer links from an ad to the advertiser’s web site – National Yellow Pages Marketing Programs calls this a “visit”). NYPMP only works with publishers who charge on a pay-per-click basis – meaning that advertisers do not have to pay if the ads are not clicked on by customers.
NYPMP displays the number of visits each advertiser’s campaign has received to date. There is no need for the advertiser to log into every individual publisher site to receive that information, as our system consolidates that information in one location.
At the end of a campaign, NYPMP reviews the number of visits the campaign has received, and the amount of money the publisher has charged for each visit. If the advertiser’s initial campaign budget has not been reached, the advertiser will receive a campaign credit to use in future campaigns. In no case will the advertiser be billed for more than their target campaign amount.
